1. Adedoyin Odunfa| CEO, Digital Jewels, Nigeria.
Adedoyin is the CEO of Digital Jewels, an IS027001-certified Payment Card Industry Qualified Security Assessor (PCIDSS QSA) providing IT and project management consulting and capacity building services. She is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), an ISO27001 lead auditor and a Project Management Professional (PMP).
As an IT professional, Adedoyin has over 20 years’ experience in professional practice, focused on enhancing the strategic value of IT in organisations through value-adding interventions across the information value chain. Her experience spans 20 years of active consulting, business development and management and specialized areas of IT such as IT governance, project management, e-business and capacity development interventions.
Adedoyin is certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) and a SFIA Accredited Consultant. She holds a B.Sc. (combined honours) in Computer Science and Economics from the Obafemi Awolowo University and an MBA (Information Technology and Management) from the City University Business School (now CASS Business School) in the UK. Adedoyin’s leadership of Digital Jewels brings to bear the wealth of her experience in the corporate world, classroom, war-room and boardroom
2. Adia Sowho | Vice President Growth, Migo
Adia is the Vice President Growth, Migo, a machine learning-powered digital credit platform. Before Migo, Adia was the director of digital business at 9mobile where she collaborated with startups to deliver mobile contents. Adia has been a media and tech business leader with over 15 years of leading strategic business transformations with a focus on delivering enduring results.
Adia is an emerging markets business leader that has developed new and still thriving organizational structures occupied by high-performance teams. Adia led business transformation across multiple units and developed high performing, cross-functional, strategy deployment and change management teams without formal authority over them.
As the Vice Chair of the EMEA Board at Mobile Ecosystem Forum [MEF], Adia is active on the Africa steering committee where she brings her experience and passion for the region to facilitate opportunities for mobile VAS providers across a complex continent.
3. Aishah Ahmad | Deputy Governor, Central Bank of Nigeria
Aishah Ahmad is the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). She is in charge of Financial System Stability. She is responsible for leading the effort to promote a sound financial system in Nigeria. This is one of the principal objects of the apex bank as specified in the CBN Act. Aishah is a member of the Governing Board and Committee of Governors at the CBN and Chairman, Financial Institutions Training Centre (FITC), a not-for-profit organisation offering training, consulting and research services for the financial services sector.
Aishah is the Chairman of Board of Director of the Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System Plc (NIBSS). Before her present role, Aishah was executive director, retail banking at Diamond Bank. She has over 22 years’ experience as a corporate executive and finance expert. Aishah had worked with NAL Bank, Zenith Bank and Stanbic IBTC Bank (a member of Standard Bank Group, SA) etc. Aishah’s passion for finance fueled the attainment of several academic and professional qualifications over the years.
Aisha is a member of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Association and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) Association. She holds an M.Sc. in Finance and Management from the Cranfield School of Management, UK, and an MBA (Finance) from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. She obtained her B.Sc. in Accounting from the University of Abuja, Nigeria.
4. Aituaz Kola-Oladejo | Executive Director, Financial Service Innovators (FSI)
Aituaz joined the FSI from Nigeria Inter Bank Settlement System Plc [NIBSS] where she served as the pioneer head of institutional research and development department. She led NIBSS innovation management, training and strategy for four years.
At NIBSS she helped to support an inclusive ecosystem of developers, startup entrepreneurs and established fintech industry players to deliver a rich portfolio of innovative technology applications and services. Aituaz had an illustrious decade long career in banking. She worked at United Bank for Africa (UBA) and Citizens International Bank (CIB).

5. Bunmi Ajani Lawson| Managing Director/CEO, EdFin Microfinance Bank
Bunmi was the pioneer Managing Director/CEO of ACCION Microfinance Bank Limited. She sits on the board of various organizations including CIBN Press, Bridge International Academies, Co-creation Hub (CcHub) Nigeria, MaTontine Inc. New York, USA, Simply Exponential Consult and others.
Bunmi has over 29 years’ professional experience in finance, insurance, marketing, auditing and banking. She is a public speaker, a Fellow of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Credit Administration of Nigeria, Credit & Collections Management of Nigeria and Member, Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.
She has attended courses at Harvard Business School, INSEAD and the Boulder Institute for Microfinance. She has a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the IESE Business School, University of Navarra and is an alumnus of the Lagos Business School.
6. Carolyn Folami | Head, Business Development and Commercial Services, NIMC
Carolyn is a payment expert and an enthusiast for anything and everything data. She is a certified data analyst and head of Business Development and Commercial Services at the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC). Carolyn leads the team on commercial transaction and initiatives for revenue and managing the Fintech and financial inclusion desk.
With over 23 years’ experience in banking, Carolyn pioneered the e-branch at UBA. Then she joined Fidelity Bank as head, e-Business where she deployed over 200 ATMs and introduced card schemes Visa, Verve and MasterCard. Carolyn launched the first naira denominated card on the Visa network.
Carolyn is proficient in project management, process engineering and strategy. She holds a B.A from the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria and an MSc from Edinburgh Business School Scotland with extensive training at Lagos Business School and Cranfield School of Management, England. Carolyn is an honorary member of the Chartered Institute of Banking of Nigeria (CIBN) and a certified fellow in cards and payment at the International Academy of Retail Banking, UK.
7. Chinyere Don-Okhuofu | Divisional, CEO, Interswitch Networks
Chinyere is a chartered accountant with a first degree in Accounting. Chinyere develops and executes strategies to deepen and broaden our industry vertical markets business. Chinyere is unwavering in her desire to get every organised business in markets where her company operate to adopt solutions and services that digitise cash.
Chinyere is tenacious and result-oriented, as she leads a highly motivated team that has consistently opened up new vistas for the company. Chinyere is an alumnus of London Business School. Before joining Interswitch, she was responsible for branch and electronic banking at one of the foremost banks in Nigeria where she led and executed the channel transformation strategy of the bank.
8. Christabel Onyejekwe | Executive Director, Technology and Operations, NIBSS Plc
Christabel is the Executive Director, Technology and Operations at the Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System (NIBSS). Before her appointment, she was the Executive Director, Business Development at the company. Christabel started her banking career at First Bank of Nigeria and peaked in UBA as a General Manager with over 20 years of core banking experience.
Christabel played prominent roles during the consolidation of the banks in 2005. She was appointed the pioneer regional director, Lagos, in charge of over 100 branches in 2006. She played prominent roles during the birth of the Nigerian National Switch (NNS), the deployment of the Bank Verification Number (BVN) and the roll out of the industry’s award-winning NIBSS Instant Payment (NIP).
Christabel holds an LLB honours degree from the University of Lagos and BL honours from the Nigeria Law School. She also holds an MBA certificate in Banking and Finance. Christabel is an associate member of Women in Business (WIMBIZ) and holds an Honourary Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) membership. Christabel obtained a certificate in corporate-level strategy from Harvard Business School in 2016.
9. Ehi Ojeh | Head, Strategy & Investor Relation, Union Bank
Ehi is the head, strategy and investor relations at Union Bank. She drives the bank’s growth through strategy, digital and innovation. Ehi has been involved in strategy development, execution and monitoring, business and digital transformation.
Capital optimisation, project management, business process optimisation and commercial and operational due diligence for organisations within the financial services, power, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and public sectors are the other areas she is involved in. Ehi has consulted for small businesses in the design of their business models, sales and marketing strategies to maximise chances of success in the marketplace.
10. Ezine Obikile | Executive Director, SystemSpecs
Ezinne is the Executive Director, Payment Gateway and Infrastructure at SystemSpecs. Before joining SystemSpecs, she was the pioneer Group Head of Transaction Banking at First Bank of Nigeria and Group Head, Products and Marketing Support. Ezinne started her professional career in 1987 as a software developer with the Ibru Group of companies. She joined First Bank’s IT division in 1989.
Ezinne has over 31 years’ work experience with 29 years in banking, where she garnered diverse experiences in banking process automation, products development and improvement, electronic payments, credit and relationship and cash management. Ezinne is a two-time winner of First Bank’s CEO Annual Merit award of “Best Product Manager” in 2008 and 2009 consecutively.
Ezinne holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Computer Science from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and a Master of Business Administration in Banking and Finance from the Enugu State University of Science and Technology. Ezinne has attended several executive training programmes at Kellogg School of Business, Northwestern University, Evanston, USA; University of California, Berkeley; INSEAD Business School etc. Ezinne is a member of the Computer Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN).
11. Faith Adesemowo | MD/CEO, Social Lender
Faith is the Managing Director and CEO of Social Lender. Social Lender is a lending solution based on social reputation on mobile, online and social media platforms. Social Lender is designed to bridge the gap of immediate fund access for people with limited access to formal credit.
Its proprietary algorithm performs a social audit of the user on social media, online and other related platforms and provides a Social Reputation Score to each user. Loans are guaranteed by the user’s social profile and network allowing users to then borrow from banks and other financial institutions based on their social reputation. Faith had spent over seven years of sales and investment banking at BGL before joining Social Lender and has an MBA in view from Warwick Business School.
12. Funke AlomoOluwa| MD, ChamsAccess
Funke is the Managing Director of ChamsAccess Limited, a subsidiary of Chams. Funke was the deputy project manager and chief installation officer of the Bank Verification Number (BVN) project initiated by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
Funke’s change implementation strategies helped ChamsAccess and the group towards market leadership and growth. Funke is a member of the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), the Institute of Directors (IoD) and associate member of Women in Business (WIMBIZ).
13. Jacqueline Juma-Oloyede | DFS Specialist and MD of Intermarc Consulting
Jacqueline was associated with MicroSave Consulting Africa as a senior analyst in the Digital Financial Services (DFS) department and was the lead faculty member at the Helix Institute of Digital Finance, Kenya. As a consultant, Jacqueline was involved with projects in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Burundi, Pakistan, India and Jordan etc.
Jacqueline is a professional with over 12 years’ experience in digital financial services, telecoms and the banking sectors. Her accumulated experience involves a number of achievements in the financial services space including various digital financial services publications.
Jacqueline has broad knowledge and experience in DFS product development, strategic operations in agent network deployment and scale-up, the FinTech Watch and Emerging DFS Technologies, DFS business strategy development, market research, DFS policy advisory, risk management and marketing and communications. Jacqueline is knowledgeable in behavioural economics and design thinking in financial services.
14. Jameelah Sharrieff-Ayedun | MD/CEO, CR Services
Jameelah is an international professional that brings multi-faceted experience in business, technical and people management. She is co-founder of CreditRegistry Corporation, a software technology company headquartered in Washington State, USA. From 2014-2016, she was the substantive MD/CEO of CreditRegistry Nigeria and successfully grew the company to profitability by 858%.
In recognition of her philanthropic efforts, she was nominated for the Jefferson Award for Extraordinary Public Service for Washington State, USA. Jameelah is a thought leader and business champion, with over 20 years’ experience in defining strategy, developing organizational structure, building diverse winning teams and delivering results.
Jameelah received the highest presidential honour, the Stryker Award, from Illinois Institute of Technology where she received a BSc in Electrical Engineering. Jameelah is an active member of the Institute of Directors and Electrical and Electronics Engineers. Jameelah is a graduate of Dale Carnegie, Stanford Seed Institute for Innovation in Developing Economies and Stanford Graduate School of Business 2017.
15. Kemi Okusanya | General Manager Visa, West Africa
Kemi is the General Manager of Visa, West Africa. She is a tested business manager skilled in the area of business strategy, key account management, business leadership, team management and project supervision. Kemi is a natural team player with unique leadership, communication and interpersonal qualities. She has about 18 years’ work experience across various roles.
Before joining Visa, Kemi was the head of Anglophone Africa at MoneyGram International. She was responsible for the health and welfare of the company’s brand, people, agents and consumers. Kemi was General Manager for a 23-country region, 23,000 brick-and-mortar locations and ATMs. Kemi was responsible for overseeing the efficient delivery of the profit and loss, management of diverse partner relationships and continuous performance of the team.
16. Kofo Akinkugbe| Managing Director/CEO, SecureID
Kofo Akinkugbe founded Interface Technologies in 1998, SecureID in 2005 and SecureCard Manufacturing in 2012. SecureID Group comprises SecureID and SecureCard Manufacturing. SecureID is a Mastercard, Visa and Verve-certified smart card personalization bureau and digital technology company.
Under the astute leadership of Kofo, SecureID Group has made a mark in the smart card industry that has earned the group industry-wide recognition and respect across the global smart card industry, owing chiefly to its reliable and unwavering ability to provide high-end digital security solutions to organisations and governments across Africa and beyond.
Kofo is a prize-winning graduate of Mathematics of the University of Lagos. Kofo started her career with a 12-year experience in the banking industry, beginning with International Merchant Bank, local affiliate of the First National Bank of Chicago, before she joined the Chartered Bank team as a pioneer staff member. During this time, Kofo received the British Government Chevening Scholarship to study for an MBA at the Strathclyde Graduate Business School, Scotland, UK.
17. Lola Olusola| Product Manager, One Finance and Investment
Lola is the Product Manager at One Finance and Investment (Carbon). She is an experienced creative and digital professional with a demonstrated history of working in the eCommerce and fashion industry. Lola is the brain behind the Bloom initiative powered by Carbon to solve the problem of gender disparity in the fintech industry in Nigeria.
Bloom was conceived after Carbon realized that despite an almost equal male to female national population split, there was a wide disparity in transactions with female-derived transactions only being a quarter of the total business. To solve the problem of gender inequality, Bloom’s goal is to increase a female business share from 25% to 45% by the end of 2019.
18. Lola Ekugo | Head, Digital Innovation Lab, FirstBank Nigeria
Lola is the head of the Digital Innovation Lab at FirstBank Nigeria. Lola is also a co-founder of Elohims Basket, an initiative with the vision to influence communities through outreach and social impact programmes. Lola has worked for several financial services companies in Europe and Africa including BNP Paribas and Commerzbank in her 13-year technology career.
Lola received a Portfolio Restructuring Unit Excellence award at Commerzbank in recognition of her contribution towards the largest ever CDS auction with a value of EUR 38 billion as conducted after the merger of Dresdner Kleinwort and Commerzbank in 2010. Lola has founded various startups. One of them is Transthat.com, a peer to peer logistics platform.
Lola holds a BSc in Business Information Systems (First Class honours with scholarship for outstanding academic achievement) from Middlesex University, London and an MBA from Imperial College (scholarship recipient based on her experience and track record). Lola serves on the tech committee of WimBiz and the Digital Transformation Committee of JA, Nigeria.
19. Mary Uduk | Ag. Director General, Securities and Exchange Commission
Mary is the acting Director General of the Securities and Exchange Commission. Mary was at various times the head of Internal Control, Financial Standards and Corporate Governance and Securities and Investment Services departments of SEC.
Mary served on various national and international committees such as the SEC/DMO Committee on Nigeria’s first sovereign debt bond issuance, the technical committee on banking and insurance industries consolidation, and the technical committee of the West African Capital Market Integration Council (WACMIC).
Mary holds Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Business Administration from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and Business School, Netherlands. Mary is a 2009 Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria and has attended various executive and management programmes including Securitization and Housing Finance at Wharton Business School; International Borrowing and Debt Management at the International Law Institute, Washington DC and On-the-Job Training at British Columbia Securities Commission, Vancouver, Canada.
20. Oluwatobi Bushoro | Former MD/CEO, Renmoney
Oluwatobi is a Fintech expert and digital payment professional. She was the CEO of Renmoney. Before her appointment, Oluwatobi served as the Head, Digital Strategy, issuing and service management and electronic banking and digital strategy units at various times where she was responsible for the digital transformation of at Stanbic IBTC Bank. Between 2008 and 2014, Oluwatobi held senior positions at the Interswitch Group and has over 15 years’ experience.
Oluwatobi is an alumnus of the prestigious Harvard Business School, having completed multiple Executive Management programmes including the General Management Programme in 2013. Oluwatobi holds a M.Sc. Strategic Marketing from Cranfield University’s School of Management and a BSc. in Economics from Ogun State University
21. Oluwatoyin Albert | Divisional Head, Sales, Marketing and Product Development, Xpress Payment
Oluwatoyin is what many will describe as an acute brand story teller. Before her role as Divisional Head of Sales, Marketing and Product Development at Xpress Payment Solutions, Oluwatoyin managed the sales, marketing, corporate communications, brand and the product development teams. With seamless processes set in place, Oluwatoyin ensures the creation of innovative products from the IT team, delivering the products to the marketplace, while communicating and advertising to the target audience and smooth transitioning of leads to the sales team.
Oluwatoyin obtained High Performance Leadership certificate from Cornel University, USA in 2015 and she served as an associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Management. Oluwatoyin is a certified Customer Service profession, Service Quality Institute, USA. 22. Omokehinde Adebanjo| Vice President and Area Business Head, West Africa, Mastercard
Omokehinde is the Vice President and Area Business Head for West Africa, Mastercard. Based in Nigeria, Omokehinde is responsible for advancing acceptance and issuance of Mastercard’s payment products in Nigeria and other English-speaking countries in West Africa.
Before her appointment, Omokehinde fulfilled the role of Vice President for Business Development in the West African region. Omokehinde was employed by the Guaranty Trust Bank where she spent four years as the Head of Cards and Product Development. She was at Airtel, then Econet. Omokehinde holds an MBA from the Lagos Business School and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria.
23. Onajite Regha| Divisional Head, PayAttitude
Onajite is the Group Head at PayAttitude Global. Before her new role, Onajite was the CEO of Electronic Payment Practitioners Association of Nigeria [E-PPAN]. She has worked in various industries. She started her career in Aula Marina, an oil and gas servicing firm and Citibank where she spent over three years in the operations department. She managed the customer service point of Citibank’s e-purse product. Onajite also worked with Intermarc Consulting.
Onajite was the pioneering editor-in-chief of Card Technology Africa magazine and the brain behind Card East Africa, an annual conference introduced in her time for the collective representation of the East Africa region. Onajite is a member of the advisory board of Aitec West Africa. Onajite works in several committees in the payment systems in Nigeria and the ECOWAS sub region and writes for several publications. Onajite holds a degree in Mass Communication and Project Management Professional certification.
24. Ronke Kuye| CEO, SANEF
Ronke is the CEO of the Shared Agent Network Expansion Facilities (SANEF). Ronke’s banking experience which spans over 24 years includes the setting up of a successful card business and alternative payment channels. Ronke was one of the three founding members and the founding chairman of the Committee of e-Banking Industry Heads (CeBIH) and sits on its advisory board.
Ronke’s notable achievements include the launching of the first Naira denominated Mastercard (accepted worldwide) in Nigeria and the first Mastercard world card in Africa. Ronke was a member of the CBN payment scheme board [PSV 2020] cards working group that was responsible for setting the current industry guidelines/standards on payment cards.
25. Sayu Abend| CEO, SpacePoint
As SpacePointe’s CEO, Sayu is responsible for leading the company’s overall market strategy, vision and execution. Sayu founded SpacePointe in 2014 with the sole intent to innovate around the needs of small-to-medium enterprise. Before this, she was the head of sales operations at InComm Inc, managing product innovation, standardization and the deployment into various markets.
Sayu was the head of IT strategy and executive at InComm Inc., and was responsible for the end-to-end strategy and project execution for information technology organization. Sayu assisted in growing the company’s revenues from $1 billion to $15 billion over five years by designing cutting edge solutions, aligning product strategy and innovation with development to realize cost savings, accelerate performance, and sustain systematic flexibility.
26. Shola Olufosoye | Vice President, IT, FMDQ Securities Exchange
Shola is the Head, Information Technology Division, comprising three groups, namely application, infrastructure management and enterprise technology services. Shola’s over 25 years’ experience spans across customer and relationship management at Citibank Nigeria, head of IT at First City Monument Bank and CIO at Computer Warehouse Group. Shola served on the Technology Committee that birthed ValuCard Nigeria and Interswitch.
27. Temitope Akin-Fadeyi | Pioneer Head, Financial Inclusion Secretariat, Central Bank of Nigeria
Temitope was the Principal Manager, Development Finance Department at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). Temitope was also the pioneer Head of the Financial Inclusion Secretariat at the CBN where she led the implementation of the National Financial Inclusion Strategy (NFIS).
Temitope has broad executive management experience with background in development finance, financial inclusion, strategy, operations, DFS, microfinance, retail banking, product development, project management and international money transfers. Temitope’s passion is in the creation of sustainable value through product, process and policy innovations for cross-functional stakeholders.
Temitope holds a Second Class (upper), Bachelor of Arts degree (French) from the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye. Temitope is pursuing a Master of Arts degree (International Relations) from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University, USA. Temitope has attended Executive Development programmes at the Harvard Business School; John F. Kennedy School of Government and was a pioneer cohort of the certificate in Law and Regulation of Inclusive Finance from the University of Luxembourg.
28. Titilola Shogaolu | Divisional CEO, Interswitch Financial Inclusion Services [IFIS]
Titilola has worked in Interswitch for 14 years in various capacities with responsibilities spanning functions within operations, product management, sales, key account management and project management. Before her new appointment, she was the group head social systems and services in the industry vertical market division of Interswitch Group.
Titilola led the sales efforts to provide the company’s revenue collections, funds disbursement solutions and value-added services to clients in different sectors including government, power, transportation, education, utilities etc. she also managed the company’s clients & businesses in the South-East/South-South region with the team based in the Port Harcourt office.
Titilola’s responsibility at IFIS is to deepen financial inclusion, empower and transform individuals to profitable entrepreneurs and make primarily financial services available to the unbanked and under-banked in the country. Titilola has a first degree in Business Economics and a MBA from the Cardiff University of Wales. She is an alumnus of the Senior Management Programme (SMP) at the Lagos Business School.
29. Titilayo Olubiyi | Director, Financial Institutions, Unified Payment (UP)
Titilayo is the Director, Financial Institutions. Titilayo has over 20 years’ hands-on experience in marketing, sales, channel management and general management. Titilayo was Group Head, Business Development in Market and Sales Directorate in UP and the pioneering Group Head for PayAttitude. Titilayo has an excellent track record working with UACN, MTN, Nokia West Africa and Samsung Electronics West Africa. She also won several performance awards.
Titilayo has an MBA in Marketing and BA Honours English from Obafemi Awolowo University. Titilayo is an affiliate member of Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK) and a member of Nigeria Institute of Marketing. Titilayo has attended several notable trainings in and outside Nigeria including Cornell University, USA, IESE Business School, Barcelona; and Lagos Business School.
30. Yinka David West | Director and Senior Fellow, Operations, Information System and Marketing, LBS
Yinka is a senior fellow in the Operations, Information Systems and Marketing Division of Lagos Business School (LBS). Yinka is a member of the LBS Management Board and Academic Director and the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC). She is also a qualified practitioner of the Skills Framework for the Information Age (SFIA) and the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University.
Yinka is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT), and the academic advocate to the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) and a digital money specialist certified by Digital Frontiers Institute. Adedoyin is the CEO of Digital Jewels, an IS027001-certified Payment Card Industry Qualified Security Assessor (PCIDSS QSA) providing IT and project management consulting and capacity building services. She is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), an ISO27001 lead auditor and a Project Management Professional (PMP).
As an IT professional, Adedoyin has over 20 years’ experience in professional practice, focused on enhancing the strategic value of IT in organisations through value-adding interventions across the information value chain. Her experience spans 20 years of active consulting, business development and management and specialized areas of IT such as IT governance, project management, e-business and capacity development interventions.
Adedoyin is certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) and a SFIA Accredited Consultant. She holds a B.Sc. (combined honours) in Computer Science and Economics from the Obafemi Awolowo University and an MBA (Information Technology and Management) from the City University Business School (now CASS Business School) in the UK. 2. Adia Sowho | Vice President Growth, Migo
Adia is the Vice President Growth, Migo, a machine learning-powered digital credit platform. Before Migo, Adia was the director of digital business at 9mobile where she collaborated with startups to deliver mobile contents. Adia has been a media and tech business leader with over 15 years of leading strategic business transformations with a focus on delivering enduring results.
Adia is an emerging markets business leader that has developed new and still thriving organizational structures occupied by high-performance teams. Adia led business transformation across multiple units and developed high performing, cross-functional, strategy deployment and change management teams without formal authority over them.
As the Vice Chair of the EMEA Board at Mobile Ecosystem Forum [MEF], Adia is active on the Africa steering committee where she brings her experience and passion for the region to facilitate opportunities for mobile VAS providers across a complex continent.
3. Aishah Ahmad | Deputy Governor, Central Bank of Nigeria
Aishah Ahmad is the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). She is in charge of Financial System Stability. She is responsible for leading the effort to promote a sound financial system in Nigeria. This is one of the principal objects of the apex bank as specified in the CBN Act. Aishah is a member of the Governing Board and Committee of Governors at the CBN and Chairman, Financial Institutions Training Centre (FITC), a not-for-profit organisation offering training, consulting and research services for the financial services sector.
Aishah is the Chairman of Board of Director of the Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System Plc (NIBSS). Before her present role, Aishah was executive director, retail banking at Diamond Bank. She has over 22 years’ experience as a corporate executive and finance expert. Aishah had worked with NAL Bank, Zenith Bank and Stanbic IBTC Bank (a member of Standard Bank Group, SA) etc. Aishah’s passion for finance fueled the attainment of several academic and professional qualifications over the years.
Aisha is a member of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Association and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) Association. She holds an M.Sc. in Finance and Management from the Cranfield School of Management, UK, and an MBA (Finance) from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. She obtained her B.Sc. in Accounting from the University of Abuja, Nigeria.
4. Aituaz Kola-Oladejo | Executive Director, Financial Service Innovators (FSI)
Aituaz joined the FSI from Nigeria Inter Bank Settlement System Plc [NIBSS] where she served as the pioneer head of institutional research and development department. She led NIBSS innovation management, training and strategy for four years.
At NIBSS she helped to support an inclusive ecosystem of developers, startup entrepreneurs and established fintech industry players to deliver a rich portfolio of innovative technology applications and services. Aituaz had an illustrious decade long career in banking. She worked at United Bank for Africa (UBA) and Citizens International Bank (CIB).

5. Bunmi Ajani Lawson| Managing Director/CEO, EdFin Microfinance Bank
Bunmi was the pioneer Managing Director/CEO of ACCION Microfinance Bank Limited. She sits on the board of various organizations including CIBN Press, Bridge International Academies, Co-creation Hub (CcHub) Nigeria, MaTontine Inc. New York, USA, Simply Exponential Consult and others.
Bunmi has over 29 years’ professional experience in finance, insurance, marketing, auditing and banking. She is a public speaker, a Fellow of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Credit Administration of Nigeria, Credit & Collections Management of Nigeria and Member, Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.

6. Carolyn Folami | Head, Business Development and Commercial Services, NIMC
Carolyn is a payment expert and an enthusiast for anything and everything data. She is a certified data analyst and head of Business Development and Commercial Services at the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC). Carolyn leads the team on commercial transaction and initiatives for revenue and managing the Fintech and financial inclusion desk.
With over 23 years’ experience in banking, Carolyn pioneered the e-branch at UBA. Then she joined Fidelity Bank as head, e-Business where she deployed over 200 ATMs and introduced card schemes Visa, Verve and MasterCard. Carolyn launched the first naira denominated card on the Visa network.
Carolyn is proficient in project management, process engineering and strategy. She holds a B.A from the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria and an MSc from Edinburgh Business School Scotland with extensive training at Lagos Business School and Cranfield School of Management, England. Carolyn is an honorary member of the Chartered Institute of Banking of Nigeria (CIBN) and a certified fellow in cards and payment at the International Academy of Retail Banking, UK.
7. Chinyere Don-Okhuofu | Divisional, CEO, Interswitch Networks
Chinyere is a chartered accountant with a first degree in Accounting. Chinyere develops and executes strategies to deepen and broaden our industry vertical markets business. Chinyere is unwavering in her desire to get every organised business in markets where her company operate to adopt solutions and services that digitise cash.
Chinyere is tenacious and result-oriented, as she leads a highly motivated team that has consistently opened up new vistas for the company. Chinyere is an alumnus of London Business School. 8. Christabel Onyejekwe | Executive Director, Technology and Operations, NIBSS Plc
Christabel is the Executive Director, Technology and Operations at the Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System (NIBSS). Before her appointment, she was the Executive Director, Business Development at the company. Christabel started her banking career at First Bank of Nigeria and peaked in UBA as a General Manager with over 20 years of core banking experience.
Christabel played prominent roles during the consolidation of the banks in 2005. She was appointed the pioneer regional director, Lagos, in charge of over 100 branches in 2006. She played prominent roles during the birth of the Nigerian National Switch (NNS), the deployment of the Bank Verification Number (BVN) and the roll out of the industry’s award-winning NIBSS Instant Payment (NIP).
Christabel holds an LLB honours degree from the University of Lagos and BL honours from the Nigeria Law School. She also holds an MBA certificate in Banking and Finance. Christabel is an associate member of Women in Business (WIMBIZ) and holds an Honourary Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) membership. 9. Ehi Ojeh | Head, Strategy & Investor Relation, Union Bank
Ehi is the head, strategy and investor relations at Union Bank. She drives the bank’s growth through strategy, digital and innovation. Ehi has been involved in strategy development, execution and monitoring, business and digital transformation.
Capital optimisation, project management, business process optimisation and commercial and operational due diligence for organisations within the financial services, power, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and public sectors are the other areas she is involved in. Ehi has consulted for small businesses in the design of their business models, sales and marketing strategies to maximise chances of success in the marketplace.
10. Ezine Obikile | Executive Director, SystemSpecs
Ezinne is the Executive Director, Payment Gateway and Infrastructure at SystemSpecs. Before joining SystemSpecs, she was the pioneer Group Head of Transaction Banking at First Bank of Nigeria and Group Head, Products and Marketing Support. Ezinne started her professional career in 1987 as a software developer with the Ibru Group of companies. She joined First Bank’s IT division in 1989.
Ezinne has over 31 years’ work experience with 29 years in banking, where she garnered diverse experiences in banking process automation, products development and improvement, electronic payments, credit and relationship and cash management. Ezinne is a two-time winner of First Bank’s CEO Annual Merit award of “Best Product Manager” in 2008 and 2009 consecutively.
Ezinne holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Computer Science from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and a Master of Business Administration in Banking and Finance from the Enugu State University of Science and Technology. Ezinne has attended several executive training programmes at Kellogg School of Business, Northwestern University, Evanston, USA; University of California, Berkeley; INSEAD Business School etc. Ezinne is a member of the Computer Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN).
11. Faith Adesemowo | MD/CEO, Social Lender
Faith is the Managing Director and CEO of Social Lender. Social Lender is a lending solution based on social reputation on mobile, online and social media platforms. Social Lender is designed to bridge the gap of immediate fund access for people with limited access to formal credit.
Its proprietary algorithm performs a social audit of the user on social media, online and other related platforms and provides a Social Reputation Score to each user. Loans are guaranteed by the user’s social profile and network allowing users to then borrow from banks and other financial institutions based on their social reputation. Faith had spent over seven years of sales and investment banking at BGL before joining Social Lender and has an MBA in view from Warwick Business School.
12. Funke AlomoOluwa| MD, ChamsAccess
Funke is the Managing Director of ChamsAccess Limited, a subsidiary of Chams. Funke was the deputy project manager and chief installation officer of the Bank Verification Number (BVN) project initiated by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
Funke’s change implementation strategies helped ChamsAccess and the group towards market leadership and growth. Funke is a member of the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), the Institute of Directors (IoD) and associate member of Women in Business (WIMBIZ).
13. Jacqueline Juma-Oloyede | DFS Specialist and MD of Intermarc Consulting
Jacqueline was associated with MicroSave Consulting Africa as a senior analyst in the Digital Financial Services (DFS) department and was the lead faculty member at the Helix Institute of Digital Finance, Kenya. As a consultant, Jacqueline was involved with projects in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Burundi, Pakistan, India and Jordan etc.
Jacqueline is a professional with over 12 years’ experience in digital financial services, telecoms and the banking sectors. Her accumulated experience involves a number of achievements in the financial services space including various digital financial services publications.
Jacqueline has broad knowledge and experience in DFS product development, strategic operations in agent network deployment and scale-up, the FinTech Watch and Emerging DFS Technologies, DFS business strategy development, market research, DFS policy advisory, risk management and marketing and communications. Jacqueline is knowledgeable in behavioural economics and design thinking in financial services.
14. Jameelah Sharrieff-Ayedun | MD/CEO, CR Services
Jameelah is an international professional that brings multi-faceted experience in business, technical and people management. She is co-founder of CreditRegistry Corporation, a software technology company headquartered in Washington State, USA. From 2014-2016, she was the substantive MD/CEO of CreditRegistry Nigeria and successfully grew the company to profitability by 858%.
In recognition of her philanthropic efforts, she was nominated for the Jefferson Award for Extraordinary Public Service for Washington State, USA. Jameelah is a thought leader and business champion, with over 20 years’ experience in defining strategy, developing organizational structure, building diverse winning teams and delivering results.
Jameelah received the highest presidential honour, the Stryker Award, from Illinois Institute of Technology where she received a BSc in Electrical Engineering. Jameelah is an active member of the Institute of Directors and Electrical and Electronics Engineers. 15. Kemi Okusanya | General Manager Visa, West Africa
Kemi is the General Manager of Visa, West Africa. She is a tested business manager skilled in the area of business strategy, key account management, business leadership, team management and project supervision. Kemi is a natural team player with unique leadership, communication and interpersonal qualities. She has about 18 years’ work experience across various roles.
Before joining Visa, Kemi was the head of Anglophone Africa at MoneyGram International. She was responsible for the health and welfare of the company’s brand, people, agents and consumers. Kemi was General Manager for a 23-country region, 23,000 brick-and-mortar locations and ATMs. Kemi was responsible for overseeing the efficient delivery of the profit and loss, management of diverse partner relationships and continuous performance of the team.

Kofo is a prize-winning graduate of Mathematics of the University of Lagos. 17. Lola Olusola| Product Manager, One Finance and Investment
Lola is the Product Manager at One Finance and Investment (Carbon). She is an experienced creative and digital professional with a demonstrated history of working in the eCommerce and fashion industry. Lola is the brain behind the Bloom initiative powered by Carbon to solve the problem of gender disparity in the fintech industry in Nigeria.
Bloom was conceived after Carbon realized that despite an almost equal male to female national population split, there was a wide disparity in transactions with female-derived transactions only being a quarter of the total business. To solve the problem of gender inequality, Bloom’s goal is to increase a female business share from 25% to 45% by the end of 2019.
18. Lola Ekugo | Head, Digital Innovation Lab, FirstBank Nigeria
Lola is the head of the Digital Innovation Lab at FirstBank Nigeria. Lola is also a co-founder of Elohims Basket, an initiative with the vision to influence communities through outreach and social impact programmes. Lola has worked for several financial services companies in Europe and Africa including BNP Paribas and Commerzbank in her 13-year technology career.
Lola received a Portfolio Restructuring Unit Excellence award at Commerzbank in recognition of her contribution towards the largest ever CDS auction with a value of EUR 38 billion as conducted after the merger of Dresdner Kleinwort and Commerzbank in 2010. Lola has founded various startups. One of them is Transthat.com, a peer to peer logistics platform.
Lola holds a BSc in Business Information Systems (First Class honours with scholarship for outstanding academic achievement) from Middlesex University, London and an MBA from Imperial College (scholarship recipient based on her experience and track record). Lola serves on the tech committee of WimBiz and the Digital Transformation Committee of JA, Nigeria.
19. Mary Uduk | Ag. Director General, Securities and Exchange Commission
Mary is the acting Director General of the Securities and Exchange Commission. Mary was at various times the head of Internal Control, Financial Standards and Corporate Governance and Securities and Investment Services departments of SEC.

22. Omokehinde Adebanjo| Vice President and Area Business Head, West Africa, Mastercard
Omokehinde is the Vice President and Area Business Head for West Africa, Mastercard. Based in Nigeria, Omokehinde is responsible for advancing acceptance and issuance of Mastercard’s payment products in Nigeria and other English-speaking countries in West Africa.
Before her appointment, Omokehinde fulfilled the role of Vice President for Business Development in the West African region. Omokehinde was employed by the Guaranty Trust Bank where she spent four years as the Head of Cards and Product Development. She was at Airtel, then Econet. Omokehinde holds an MBA from the Lagos Business School and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria.
23. Onajite Regha| Divisional Head, PayAttitude
Onajite is the Group Head at PayAttitude Global. Before her new role, Onajite was the CEO of Electronic Payment Practitioners Association of Nigeria [E-PPAN]. She has worked in various industries. She started her career in Aula Marina, an oil and gas servicing firm and Citibank where she spent over three years in the operations department. She managed the customer service point of Citibank’s e-purse product. Onajite also worked with Intermarc Consulting.
Onajite was the pioneering editor-in-chief of Card Technology Africa magazine and the brain behind Card East Africa, an annual conference introduced in her time for the collective representation of the East Africa region. Onajite is a member of the advisory board of Aitec West Africa. Onajite works in several committees in the payment systems in Nigeria and the ECOWAS sub region and writes for several publications. Onajite holds a degree in Mass Communication and Project Management Professional certification.
24. Ronke Kuye| CEO, SANEF
Ronke is the CEO of the Shared Agent Network Expansion Facilities (SANEF). Ronke’s banking experience which spans over 24 years includes the setting up of a successful card business and alternative payment channels. Ronke was one of the three founding members and the founding chairman of the Committee of e-Banking Industry Heads (CeBIH) and sits on its advisory board.
Ronke’s notable achievements include the launching of the first Naira denominated Mastercard (accepted worldwide) in Nigeria and the first Mastercard world card in Africa. Ronke was a member of the CBN payment scheme board [PSV 2020] cards working group that was responsible for setting the current industry guidelines/standards on payment cards.
25. Sayu Abend| CEO, SpacePoint
As SpacePointe’s CEO, Sayu is responsible for leading the company’s overall market strategy, vision and execution. Sayu founded SpacePointe in 2014 with the sole intent to innovate around the needs of small-to-medium enterprise. Before this, she was the head of sales operations at InComm Inc, managing product innovation, standardization and the deployment into various markets.
Sayu was the head of IT strategy and executive at InComm Inc., and was responsible for the end-to-end strategy and project execution for information technology organization. Sayu assisted in growing the company’s revenues from $1 billion to $15 billion over five years by designing cutting edge solutions, aligning product strategy and innovation with development to realize cost savings, accelerate performance, and sustain systematic flexibility.
26. Shola Olufosoye | Vice President, IT, FMDQ Securities Exchange
Shola is the Head, Information Technology Division, comprising three groups, namely application, infrastructure management and enterprise technology services. Shola’s over 25 years’ experience spans across customer and relationship management at Citibank Nigeria, head of IT at First City Monument Bank and CIO at Computer Warehouse Group. Shola served on the Technology Committee that birthed ValuCard Nigeria and Interswitch.
27. Temitope Akin-Fadeyi | Pioneer Head, Financial Inclusion Secretariat, Central Bank of Nigeria
Temitope was the Principal Manager, Development Finance Department at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). Temitope was also the pioneer Head of the Financial Inclusion Secretariat at the CBN where she led the implementation of the National Financial Inclusion Strategy (NFIS).
Temitope has broad executive management experience with background in development finance, financial inclusion, strategy, operations, DFS, microfinance, retail banking, product development, project management and international money transfers. Temitope’s passion is in the creation of sustainable value through product, process and policy innovations for cross-functional stakeholders.
Temitope holds a Second Class (upper), Bachelor of Arts degree (French) from the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye. Temitope is pursuing a Master of Arts degree (International Relations) from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University, USA. Temitope has attended Executive Development programmes at the Harvard Business School; John F. 28. Titilola Shogaolu | Divisional CEO, Interswitch Financial Inclusion Services [IFIS]
Titilola has worked in Interswitch for 14 years in various capacities with responsibilities spanning functions within operations, product management, sales, key account management and project management. Before her new appointment, she was the group head social systems and services in the industry vertical market division of Interswitch Group.
Titilola led the sales efforts to provide the company’s revenue collections, funds disbursement solutions and value-added services to clients in different sectors including government, power, transportation, education, utilities etc. she also managed the company’s clients & businesses in the South-East/South-South region with the team based in the Port Harcourt office.
Titilola’s responsibility at IFIS is to deepen financial inclusion, empower and transform individuals to profitable entrepreneurs and make primarily financial services available to the unbanked and under-banked in the country. 29. Titilayo Olubiyi | Director, Financial Institutions, Unified Payment (UP)
Titilayo is the Director, Financial Institutions. Titilayo has over 20 years’ hands-on experience in marketing, sales, channel management and general management. Titilayo was Group Head, Business Development in Market and Sales Directorate in UP and the pioneering Group Head for PayAttitude. Titilayo has an excellent track record working with UACN, MTN, Nokia West Africa and Samsung Electronics West Africa. She also won several performance awards.
Titilayo has an MBA in Marketing and BA Honours English from Obafemi Awolowo University. Titilayo is an affiliate member of Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK) and a member of Nigeria Institute of Marketing. Titilayo has attended several notable trainings in and outside Nigeria including Cornell University, USA, IESE Business School, Barcelona; and Lagos Business School.
30. Yinka David West | Director and Senior Fellow, Operations, Information System and Marketing, LBS
Yinka is a senior fellow in the Operations, Information Systems and Marketing Division of Lagos Business School (LBS). Yinka is a member of the LBS Management Board and Academic Director and the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC). She is also a qualified practitioner of the Skills Framework for the Information Age (SFIA) and the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University.
Yinka is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT), and the academic advocate to the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) and a digital money specialist certified by Digital Frontiers Institute. Yinka’s research interests include information systems in organizations, performance of e-business, electronic service quality and IT governance.
Yinka is an active member of Fintech Association of Nigeria. She holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from Manchester Business School; an MSc in Business Systems Analysis and Design from City University, London; and a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Lagos.
