“Even If I Die, I Will Never Forgive Anyone in My Household Who Votes APC” — Man’s Outburst Sparks Debate Ahead of 2027 Elections
In a video shared online by D English Alhaji Media on November 1, 2026, the unidentified man was heard making a striking statement about how members of his household should vote.
“Even if I die, I will never forgive anyone in my household who votes for the APC,” he declared.
The video has attracted attention amid growing political conversations about the performance of the APC-led Federal Government and the economic and security challenges facing Nigerians.
Some social media users interpreted the man's remarks as an expression of frustration with the current political situation, while others questioned the idea of allowing political disagreements to determine relationships within families.
The clip also comes amid other viral videos showing strong reactions to political declarations ahead of the next election. In a separate incident reported in October, a man who openly declared support for President Bola Tinubu and the APC at a market was seen running away after some youths moved towards him. The location and circumstances surrounding that incident were not fully established.
The latest outburst has renewed concerns about the possibility of political disagreements escalating into hostility as parties intensify mobilisation ahead of 2027.
However, political differences should not become grounds for threats, intimidation or family division. Every eligible Nigerian has the constitutional right to make an independent voting decision, free from pressure or coercion.
As the election approaches, the growing expressions of anger online and in public spaces raise questions about public confidence in political leadership and the need for peaceful democratic participation.
