Mr Eazi Shares Childhood Memories of Visits to Obasanjo’s Farm Through His Father's Aviation Career

Nigerian singer and entrepreneur Mr Eazi has shared a personal story about his upbringing, revealing how his father's career as a pilot gave him unique access to some of Nigeria's most prominent personalities.

Speaking about his family's background, the music star recounted that his father served as a military pilot before transitioning into private aviation following his retirement from military service.

According to Mr Eazi, his father later worked as a pilot for veteran filmmaker and media entrepreneur Wale Adenuga before subsequently flying for former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo during his time in office.

“My dad was a military pilot. After retiring, he became Wale Adenuga's pilot, then later flew for Olusegun Obasanjo for eight years while he was president,” Mr Eazi said.

The singer also shared fond memories of accompanying his father on visits to Obasanjo's farm, recalling how the former president would often give him large fish from the farm.

“Whenever my dad took me to Obasanjo's farm, he'd give me big fish, and I'd still ask him for money instead,” he added with laughter.
