Soldier Issues Warning to Carter Efe and Kolu Over Alleged Disrespect of Military Camouflage

A Nigerian soldier has issued a public warning to content creator Carter Efe and social media personality Kolu over what he described as the inappropriate wearing and alleged disrespect of military camouflage attire.

In a video circulating online, the officer expressed concern over civilians using military-style uniforms in a manner he said could undermine the dignity of the armed forces.

According to him, the use of camouflage clothing by non-military personnel, especially in entertainment or content creation contexts, is a sensitive issue that should be treated with caution.

The soldier warned that the Nigerian military does not take lightly the misuse or misrepresentation of its uniforms, adding that such actions could lead to consequences if repeated.

He specifically cautioned Carter Efe and Kolu, urging them to desist from wearing or portraying themselves in military camouflage in ways that could be interpreted as disrespectful to the armed forces.

The warning has sparked mixed reactions online, with some users agreeing that military attire should be reserved strictly for authorized personnel, while others argued that content creators often use costumes for entertainment purposes.

As of the time of filing this report, neither Carter Efe nor Kolu has publicly responded to the warning, and no official statement has been issued by the Nigerian Army regarding the incident.
