In a post on X, published through his account, @Rejoice_inlife, Sadiq called for confusion and internal divisions within the ruling party, while criticising APC governors and making a pointed reference to Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.
“May the spirit of error and confusion plague the APC. May the crack in their wall continue to widen,” he wrote.
Sadiq also made remarks about Wike, saying, “May Wike get higher and higher on alcohol,” before calling for pride to consume APC governors.
The post further accused party members of accumulating money to influence elections, expressing the wish that such funds would trigger conflict within the party.
“May all the money they piled up to buy votes ignite war in their camp. May it not be well with APC,” he added.
The comments reflect Sadiq’s personal political sentiments and appear to be framed as a prayer against the ruling party. His reference to Wike and alcohol was not supported by evidence in the post and should be understood as an allegation or insult rather than a verified claim.
The post comes amid continuing political debate over party unity, electoral conduct and relations among political figures ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Sadiq’s remarks have drawn attention online, although the post itself does not provide evidence for its allegations about vote-buying or internal party conflict.
