Nigerian writer and social commentator, Solomon Buchi, has challenged UK-based pastor Tobi Adegboyega to take legal action against him amid an escalating public disagreement between the two.
Buchi, in a message posted on social media on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, dared Adegboyega to sue him, saying he would use any legal proceedings as an opportunity to present evidence relating to his ongoing criticism of the pastor.
“If you're a man born of a woman, sue me. Let me teach you how to be cooked. We are in England, sue me. That's actually the bait,” Buchi said.
The commentator also claimed that he had received information that members of Adegboyega’s public relations team had held meetings concerning him.
Buchi alleged that the development would not stop him from continuing to speak publicly about the issues, saying his subsequent videos would contain what he described as “damning evidence” that he could legally make public.
“I have intelligence from your PR team that they've been meetings about me. So I won't stop and each video will come with damning evidence (the ones I can publicly share),” he wrote.
The latest exchange comes amid a wider online dispute involving Buchi, Adegboyega and other social media personalities.
According to reports, Buchi’s challenge followed recent comments by Adegboyega in which the pastor urged people with allegations involving members of his church to report such matters to the appropriate authorities or pursue them through legal channels.
Buchi interpreted the comments as a challenge directed at critics and responded by openly inviting legal action.
The dispute has also been linked to previous online exchanges involving Buchi and Nigerian content creator Peller. Buchi had reported Peller to the Metropolitan Police over comments he said falsely implicated him, while Peller later maintained that the “Mr Buchi” mentioned during his livestream was not Solomon Buchi.
Buchi’s latest statements, including his claims about Adegboyega’s PR team and the evidence he says he possesses, have not been independently established.
Adegboyega has not, in the reports reviewed, announced any lawsuit against Buchi over the latest statements.
The development has continued to attract attention online as both sides remain involved in a growing public dispute.
