Heated Exchange as Rufai Oseni, Arabambi Clash Over Engineering Career

A heated exchange has erupted between television host Rufai Oseni and Abayomi Arabambi during an on-air discussion after Oseni questioned Arabambi about his profession and work experience.

The exchange, which has since circulated on social media, began when Oseni asked Arabambi a seemingly straightforward question: “What do you do for a living?”

Responding, Arabambi said: “I’m an engineer.”

Oseni then pressed further, asking him to provide evidence of his professional experience by naming a site where he had worked.

“Can you mention any site you have worked on?” Oseni asked.

Rather than naming a specific project or construction site, Arabambi responded: “I am a rich man.” The response triggered a tense moment between the two men and drew reactions from viewers online.

A social media post sharing the exchange also quoted the same sequence of questions and responses, further fueling discussion over whether wealth alone should be considered an indication of professional competence or experience.

The confrontation has since generated mixed reactions, with some viewers praising Oseni for pressing for specifics, while others questioned the relevance of asking a guest to publicly list projects associated with his profession.

The viral exchange, however, does not by itself establish whether Arabambi has or has not worked as an engineer. His statement that he is an engineer and his response about being wealthy would require independent verification before any conclusion is drawn about his professional record.

The incident has nevertheless become a talking point online, particularly over the distinction between claiming a profession, demonstrating professional experience and citing verifiable projects.
