Popular Nigerian content creator and streamer Carter Efe has responded to allegations made by fellow personality Kolu, who accused him of reckless spending, poor financial decisions, and excessive generosity toward women.
In a series of statements circulating online, Kolu claimed that Carter Efe frequently sends money to women, some of whom allegedly scam him around the Lekki area, and suggested that his financial habits have contributed to ongoing money problems.
“Kolu likes women too much. He’s always sending money to women, and many of them have scammed him in Lekki,” the statement read.
Kolu further alleged that Carter Efe’s purchase of a Honda vehicle has become a financial burden, claiming that the car, bought for about ₦8 million, has reportedly cost over ₦15 million in repairs.
He also criticized the condition and reliability of the vehicle, describing it as frequently faulty and unreliable, while questioning his spending decisions.
In response, Carter Efe reportedly dismissed the claims and countered by sharing what he described as evidence of financial support he had extended to Kolu over time.
According to Carter Efe, he had consistently assisted Kolu financially, including multiple transfers of ₦1 million, ₦600,000, and ₦800,000 within a short period.
The exchange has sparked widespread reactions online, with fans divided over the dispute, as some question the nature of their relationship while others call for privacy and restraint in airing personal disagreements publicly.
As of the time of filing this report, neither party has issued an official joint statement clarifying the situation, and the allegations remain unverified.
