Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate, Whitney Nneoma Chukwu, popularly known as Nomy, has been disqualified from the reality television competition following repeated violations of Big Brother’s instructions and house rules.
Big Brother announced Nomy’s disqualification after citing her continued defiance of his directives, despite previous warnings, punishments and disciplinary measures.
Before her disqualification, Nomy had received a final strike during the season following repeated disregard for Big Brother’s instructions.
Her conduct had also attracted complaints relating to tardiness and selective participation in some of the activities organised for housemates.
Despite the final warning, however, Big Brother noted that Nomy continued to disregard directives and failed to demonstrate the level of compliance expected from contestants.
The repeated violations ultimately led to the decision to terminate her participation in the competition.
Following the announcement, Nomy was given 30 minutes to pack her belongings and leave the Big Brother house.
Her disqualification brings her Season 11 journey to an immediate end and means she is no longer eligible to compete for the grand prize.
She will also not participate in the remaining activities, tasks and events scheduled for the ongoing edition of the reality show.
Nomy’s exit comes as Big Brother continues to enforce the rules governing the competition and impose disciplinary measures on housemates who fail to comply with established directives.
The reality show is built around a strict set of rules designed to regulate the conduct of contestants, with sanctions ranging from warnings and strikes to possible eviction or disqualification.
