VDM Continues Review of Murder Case, Questions Timeline and Calls for Further Investigation

Social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has continued his review of a murder case involving a man identified as Ahmed Akin, focusing on the timeline of events surrounding the deaths of two individuals, Sheriff and Prince Ademola Akinloye.

In a follow-up video shared on social media, VDM examined what he described as immigration records and travel documents, which he claimed showed that Ahmed travelled in and out of Nigeria on several occasions between 2023 and 2024.

According to VDM, the travel records indicate that Ahmed left Nigeria in March 2023 and returned later that month before travelling again in April 2023. He argued that the timeline should form part of any investigation into the circumstances surrounding Sheriff's death, which reportedly occurred in April 2023.

VDM also discussed meetings allegedly held within the community following Sheriff's death, claiming there had been disagreements among community members before the incident. He suggested that investigators should carefully examine those events to establish whether they have any relevance to the case.

The activist further revisited the killing of Prince Ademola Akinloye, stating that, according to information he had reviewed, the victim was attacked while leaving a farm in 2024 after being called outside by an unidentified individual. VDM said the circumstances surrounding the shooting require further scrutiny by investigators.

Throughout the video, VDM maintained that he was not attempting to determine anyone's guilt or innocence but was instead highlighting areas he believes deserve closer examination by law enforcement authorities.

He urged investigators to thoroughly review available evidence, including travel records, witness accounts and other documentary materials, to ensure that the facts are established through due process.

As of the time of filing this report, the claims made by VDM have not been independently verified. The allegations remain subject to investigation, and no court has determined criminal responsibility in relation to the issues raised in the video.
