Nigerian Man Alleges Wife Falsely Accused Him to Secure Deportation in Emotional Account

A Nigerian man has shared an emotional account of the breakdown of his marriage, alleging that his wife falsely accused him of sexually abusing their daughter in an effort to have him deported from the United Kingdom.

In a video and statements circulating online, the man claimed he married his wife when she came from a financially disadvantaged background and supported her education after relocating her to the UK in 1970.

According to him, he spent approximately £11,000 annually on her education until she obtained a PhD.

Recounting his experience, he alleged that the relationship deteriorated after his wife became financially independent.

“I married my wife from a poor family, took her to the UK in 1970, spent £11,000 every year to train her in school up to PhD. When she saw she was established, she took me to court in the UK and lied that I raped my daughter of 11 years so that I could be deported,” he said.

The man further claimed that he was forced out of the family home and separated from his children as a result of the legal proceedings.

The allegations have generated widespread reactions on social media, with many users expressing sympathy for the man, while others have urged caution, noting that the claims represent only one side of a private family dispute.

As of the time of this report, the allegations have not been independently verified, and no court records or official statements have been made available to corroborate the man's account. The woman named in the account has not publicly responded to the allegations.

Given the serious nature of the claims, including allegations of sexual abuse and false accusation, the matter remains unverified. Under the law, allegations of criminal conduct require evidence and are subject to judicial determination.
