NBM Reportedly Expels Two Members Over Alleged Criminal Activities in South Africa

Reports circulating within Nigerian community networks in South Africa indicate that the Neo Black Movement (NBM), also known as Aye, has allegedly expelled two individuals identified as Okechukwu Nnamani, popularly known as "One Pipe" (Strong Name: Lord Thabo Mbeki), and Chinaza Agu (Strong Name: Lord Dawda Jawara).

According to the reports, the two individuals were removed from the organization over allegations of involvement in activities considered contrary to the group's principles. Members were reportedly informed that the expelled individuals should no longer be recognized as members of the organization.

Okechukwu Nnamani has been linked by community sources to several alleged violent crimes in Ekurhuleni, including robberies and other criminal incidents. The reports further claim that he was connected to the recent killing of a rival cult member identified as Ugochukwu in Boksburg, although authorities have not publicly confirmed these allegations.

Sources also alleged that Nnamani failed to honor an invitation from a Nigerian community taskforce and subsequently made threats against its leadership. These claims remain unverified by law enforcement authorities.

The reports further state that following previous publications about him, Nnamani contacted the social media platform Naija Confra. According to the platform, communication later turned hostile, with alleged threats directed at its administrators. Naija Confra stated that it maintains a policy of protecting the privacy of individuals who contact the platform and therefore would not disclose the contents of any private messages.

Community leaders have continued to call for peace and lawful conduct among Nigerians living abroad, stressing the need to protect the image of the Nigerian community in South Africa.

Authorities have not released any official statement regarding the allegations contained in the reports. Members of the public are encouraged to allow law enforcement agencies to investigate any criminal allegations and determine responsibility through due process.

Anti-cultism advocates have also renewed calls for young people to reject cult-related activities and embrace lawful and productive pursuits.
