Oshiomhole Recalls Removal as APC National Chairman, Says He Was Sacked Through Zoom

Senator Adams Oshiomhole has reflected on the circumstances surrounding his removal as National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), revealing that he was informed of his dismissal through a virtual meeting conducted on Zoom.

Speaking on the events that led to the end of his tenure as party chairman, Oshiomhole stated that his removal came through an online meeting, a development he described as one of the most remarkable experiences of his political career.

“I was sacked through Zoom as APC National Chairman,” the former Edo State governor said while recounting the episode.

Oshiomhole served as APC National Chairman between 2018 and 2020, a period marked by intense internal party disagreements, leadership disputes, and legal battles that ultimately culminated in the dissolution of the party's National Working Committee (NWC).
