Social media personality Madam Tracy Ohiri has publicly criticized popular activist and content creator Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as VDM (VeryDarkMan), following his reaction to reports surrounding the alleged detention of activist and politician Omoyele Sowore by the Department of State Services (DSS).
In a strongly worded post shared online, Ohiri accused VDM of misleading his followers regarding a previous claim that operatives of the DSS intended to arrest him at the Abuja airport.
According to Ohiri, VDM's statements reflected what she described as a "saviour complex," warning that such behavior could eventually lead him into serious trouble.
"VDM, do you know you're mentally unstable? Every smart Nigerian knows it except you. You lied to followers that DSS wanted to arrest you at Abuja Airport. That saviour complex will get you into trouble you won't come back from," she wrote.
The remarks came after VDM released a video commenting on the controversy surrounding Sowore's reported encounter with security operatives, a development that has continued to generate debate across social media platforms.
Ohiri's comments quickly sparked mixed reactions online. While some users agreed with her criticism of the activist's style of advocacy, others defended VDM, arguing that he has consistently used his platform to raise awareness about social and political issues affecting Nigerians.
