Family of Five Reportedly Deported from UK After Visa Dispute and Immigration Breach

A Nigerian family of five has reportedly been deported from the United Kingdom following a series of events involving visa complications and alleged immigration violations.

According to accounts circulating online, the family—comprising a husband, wife, two children, and a niece had relocated after selling their belongings and reportedly borrowing about ₦20 million to fund the move.

Sources claim the wife was the principal visa holder with a work permit, while the others were listed as dependents. After spending roughly two years in the UK, she allegedly notified authorities of her intention to remove her husband from her visa, a move that effectively ended their marital arrangement under immigration terms.

The husband was reportedly issued a notice to leave the country within a short timeframe. In seeking legal assistance, he is said to have disclosed that one of the children in their care was neither biologically related nor formally adopted or declared during the visa application process.

Authorities allegedly launched a follow-up investigation, and subsequent checks, including DNA testing, confirmed the claim. The development was treated as a breach of immigration rules, escalating the case.

Despite reported efforts to resolve the matter, the situation could not be reversed, and all members of the family were ultimately deported back to Nigeria.

As of the time of reporting, the identities of those involved have not been officially confirmed, and relevant UK authorities have not publicly commented on the specific case.
