BLord Describes Alleged VIP Treatment During Stay at Kuje Correctional Centre

Nigerian businessman BLord has stirred reactions online after recounting his alleged experience at the Kuje Correctional Centre in Abuja.

Speaking in a recent interview, BLord compared the facility to a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) camp, claiming that there is a special section within the prison reserved for high-profile inmates.

According to him, the section, referred to as “segregation,” provided access to amenities including appliances and personal comfort. He alleged that he had a private chef and access to various conveniences during his detention.

BLord also referenced activist VeryDarkMan, claiming that the influencer was held in a different section of the facility under much harsher conditions. However, the allegations regarding inmate treatment and conditions at the correctional centre have not been independently verified.

The comments have sparked widespread reactions online, with some Nigerians questioning disparities in treatment within correctional facilities, while others criticized BLord for publicly discussing alleged preferential conditions in detention.

As of the time of reporting, the Nigerian Correctional Service has not issued any official response to the claims.
