YoFin: Katsina Youth Receive Agricultural Inputs from Federal Ministry of Agriculture

In Katsina State, young farmers under Young Farmers in Nigeria (Yofin) have successfully collected agricultural input materials provided by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, a development celebrated by local communities as a boost for food production and youth empowerment.

The distribution included essential farming tools and supplies such as:

  • 35 sprayers

  • 1 four-inch water pump

  • 1 three-inch water pump

  • 20 insecticides

  • 20 liquid urea units

  • 1 solar-powered water pump with panel

  • 50 storage bags

Officials overseeing the process confirmed that the items were shared equitably among beneficiaries to ensure fairness and avoid misunderstandings.
