Mr Eazi’s Billion-Dollar Empire: Richer Than Davido, Wizkid, and Burna Boy?

Afrobeats star turned serial entrepreneur, Mr Eazi, is making headlines not just for his music but for the scale of his business empire—one that some fans now argue makes him wealthier than Davido, Wizkid, and Burna Boy combined.

Currently, Mr Eazi owns:

  • emPawa Africa – his artist incubator and record label

  • BetPawa – a leading sports betting company across Africa

  • PawaPay – a mobile payment solution provider

  • Zagadat Capital – his investment firm

  • Real estate holdings in Rwanda

In addition, he made waves in 2022 when Vydia, a portfolio company of his investment firm, was acquired for $1 billion, further boosting his financial profile.

Beyond that, Mr Eazi has invested in Decagon, a Nigerian tech training and outsourcing startup, and Paisa, a fintech solution—cementing his status as one of Africa’s most versatile investors.

While Davido, Wizkid, and Burna Boy dominate with streaming numbers, tours, and brand deals, analysts point out that Mr Eazi has built structures that generate wealth beyond music, positioning him as one of the richest entertainers in Africa today.
