Afrobeats star Mr Eazi has shared an inspiring throwback story about how Nigerian rapper Yung6ix played a key role in supporting his early hustle before fame found him.
According to Mr Eazi, before breaking into the music scene, he was a phone trader, and Yung6ix was one of his biggest customers at the time.
“One of my biggest customers when I was a phone trader was Yung6ix. Yung6ix & his boys that were living with him, like SD, Opus, OT & the others — those guys were buying phones,” Eazi revealed.
He humorously added that the rapper’s house was always buzzing with activity and described how one of Yung6ix’s guys constantly broke his phone whenever he had issues with his girlfriend.
“There was one of his boys that was always breaking his phone each time his babe vexed him. I’d go there, supply him a new phone, and take the old one to fix and sell as London used,” Mr Eazi recounted with laughter.
Eazi went on to appreciate Yung6ix for his massive contribution to his early business hustle, saying:
“Shout out to Yung6ix. He really helped my hustle back in the day.”
