Popular Pastor and founder of Streams of Joy International, Jerry Eze, has announced the official opening of the EL-ROI Orphanage Home, a project he described as a long-cherished dream close to his family’s heart.
Sharing the development over the weekend, the pastor revealed that he and his wife successfully launched the orphanage as part of their commitment to humanitarian service and support for vulnerable children.
“Over the weekend, my wife and I finally opened the EL-ROI Orphanage Home, a dream dear to our hearts. What God Cannot Do Does Not Exist!!! To God be all the Glory!!!” he stated.
The announcement has since attracted widespread reactions from followers and members of the Christian community, many of whom commended the initiative as a significant step toward impacting lives beyond the pulpit.
Sources close to the ministry disclosed that the orphanage is aimed at providing shelter, care, education, and emotional support for orphaned and underprivileged children, reflecting the couple’s longstanding passion for charity and social welfare.
Faith leaders and supporters have praised the project, noting that it aligns with the pastor’s consistent message of compassion, faith, and service to humanity. Many described the orphanage as a testament to practical Christianity and a demonstration of giving back to society.
Observers say the initiative further strengthens the growing trend of faith-based organisations in Nigeria expanding their outreach through humanitarian projects, particularly in areas of child welfare and community development.
The EL-ROI Orphanage Home is expected to commence full operations soon, with plans to accommodate and cater to children in need, as well as partner with well-meaning individuals and organisations to sustain the vision.
