Residents of Port Harcourt have expressed excitement and appreciation as the reconstruction of the Egwi–Afara–Mba Road, flagged off on December 12, 2024 by Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara, is now reported to be about 85 percent complete.
The road project, which was once plagued by poor conditions, flooding, and difficult accessibility, has undergone significant transformation, improving mobility and easing transportation challenges for commuters and businesses in the area.
Citizens of Port Harcourt have taken to social media to share before-and-after visuals of the project, praising the visible progress and describing it as a major infrastructural boost for the affected communities.
