Activist English Alhaji Appeals for Help as Bandits Demand Ransom for Fasting Corper

Human rights activist English Alhaji has raised an urgent alarm over the plight of a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member, identified as Abba, who was reportedly kidnapped by armed bandits.

According to Alhaji, Abba, who is currently observing a fast, is being held by the kidnappers who are demanding a ransom of ₦5 million from his family. He emphasized that the family is poor and unable to meet the demand, urging government authorities and security agencies to intervene immediately.

The activist described the situation as dire, calling attention to the growing insecurity and the vulnerability of young Nigerians serving the nation through the NYSC program.

Authorities have not yet issued an official statement on the kidnapping, but citizens and social media users are rallying to raise awareness and support for Abba’s safe release.
