Werder Bremen Boss Steffen Horst Full of Praise for Victor Boniface’s Training Quality ⚽🇳🇬

Werder Bremen manager Steffen Horst has expressed his admiration for Nigerian striker Victor Boniface, following his summer transfer from Bayer Leverkusen.

Horst admitted he has been left “shocked” by the quality and intensity Boniface brings to training sessions, describing the forward as a special talent who is already raising the team’s standards.

Horst said:
"He's well-received here, I like him, he's very likeable. It makes no difference to me, and he presents himself no differently than the players who have slightly lower market value than him. Someone who can play football like that will certainly raise the level. I have great hope that this will become apparent and that we have signed a great player. You see it again and again when there are moves and movements that I'm not familiar with. They are exceptionally good."

Boniface, who enjoyed a standout season at Bayer Leverkusen under Xabi Alonso before making the switch, is now expected to play a central role in Bremen’s attacking setup as the Bundesliga season unfolds.

Fans are eager to see if his dazzling form in training will translate into goals and assists on the pitch for the Green-Whites.
