Port Harcourt residents were left shocked after a young woman was reportedly apprehended for selling human hair stolen from unsuspecting individuals to alleged internet fraudsters, popularly known as “Yahoo boys.”
According to sources, the lady allegedly collected hair from women under various pretenses and sold it to clients involved in fraudulent activities. Eyewitnesses claim that the hair was being sold as part of schemes linked to online scams, although the full extent of the operation is still under investigation.
“This is not just theft; it’s disturbing that people’s personal belongings are being exploited for criminal activities,” a local resident said, expressing outrage at the revelations.
Authorities are reportedly investigating the matter and have advised residents to remain vigilant about their personal items, particularly hair extensions, wigs, or any items that could be misused. No official statement has yet been made regarding arrests or prosecution.
