Big Bird Kuti and Vector Announce Joint EP “Big Bird & Tha Viper”

The Nigerian music scene is buzzing as Big Bird Kuti and rap heavyweight Vector tha Viper officially announced their collaborative project, an extended play (EP) titled “Big Bird & Tha Viper.”

The project promises a fusion of Afrobeat roots, socially charged lyricism, and sharp rap delivery. According to the announcement, the EP will feature a heavyweight lineup, including Odumodublvck, Vic Mensa, Talib Kweli, Seun Kuti, and Made Kuti — a blend of African and international voices.

Fans are already describing the project as a cross-generational and cross-continental masterpiece in the making, with expectations of hard-hitting themes that touch on culture, politics, and identity.

Neither Vector nor Big Bird Kuti have revealed the release date yet, but teasers from the camp suggest that the EP will be rolled out before the year ends.

Music analysts say the collaboration could be one of the biggest hip-hop and Afrobeat crossovers of the decade, highlighting Nigeria’s growing global influence in both genres.
