A woman who reportedly joined the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and its security wing, the Eastern Security Network (ESN), is alleged to have killed five people, including the owner of a filling station, during her four-month period of involvement.
According to sources, her activities contributed to ongoing tensions in parts of Anambra and Imo states, where certain communities still observe sit-at-home orders in response to threats and security concerns.
The report has sparked renewed discussions about the activities of IPOB/ESN operatives in southeastern Nigeria and the impact of their actions on local businesses, safety, and daily life.
Authorities have continued to monitor the situation, though details on any arrests or investigations remain limited.
