Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has taken to social media to address what he describes as attempts to sabotage his career, alleging that false narratives were spread about him while many remained silent.
In a series of posts, Odumodublvck wrote, “Everybody on Twitter watched how they tried to end my career and nobody spoke up because a lot of people do not like me. They painted all sorts of false narratives and nobody spoke up for me. Now I dey speak up for myself.”
The rapper specifically called out Chocolate City, stating, “God go punish Chocolate City,” signaling a dispute with the record label over actions he believes harmed his career.
Fans and followers have reacted strongly to his posts, with some expressing support for the artist’s courage to speak up, while others caution about the public airing of conflicts in the music industry.
The situation has intensified discussions around artist-label relationships in Nigeria, the pressures faced by rising musicians, and the impact of social media on reputation and career development.
As of now, Chocolate City has not released a response to Odumodublvck’s allegations.
