Troops from Operation Whirl Stroke (6 Brigade, Nigerian Army) have successfully captured Fidelis Guyama, a notorious criminal wanted for organizing kidnappings and armed robberies across Taraba, Benue, and Plateau States.
The arrest took place on December 21, 2025, during an intelligence-led operation in Vaase community, Ukum Local Government Area, Benue State. Military sources describe Guyama as a key leader responsible for a string of violent crimes that have terrorized communities in the region.
