Nigerian music legend 2Face Idibia has addressed the controversy surrounding a recent Instagram post that sparked fresh concerns about his wellbeing and renewed online tension involving his wife and Edo lawmaker, Natasha Osawaru.
In a new statement, 2Face described the situation as being “out of hand,” urging the public to stop escalating the matter and to stop putting Osawaru “at risk.”
According to him, the alarming post that circulated earlier was not made by him, insisting that someone else had accessed his Instagram account.
“This issue is getting out of hand, and you people are putting Natasha at risk. I’m perfectly okay. Someone else posted that on my IG; I’m not the one who posted it. Families do have issues, but we will definitely resolve everything,” he said.
The singer’s reaction comes after fans and family members expressed deep concern following the mysterious IG Story post and a series of online altercations linked to his marriage. His brother, Hyacinth Idibia, had also voiced worry publicly, fueling speculation about a crisis.
2Face’s clarification appears aimed at calming the situation, assuring fans that he is safe while also emphasizing that family matters should not be inflamed by outsiders.
Neither Osawaru nor the couple has issued further details, but 2Face maintained that all internal issues will be resolved privately.
