Renowned Qur’an Reciter and MSSN Amir Alaramma Alqassim Usman Ibrahim Killed by Bandits in Kebbi State
Northern Nigeria has been struck by another tragic incident as Alaramma Alqassim Usman Ibrahim, a respected Qur’an reciter and Amir of the Muslim Students Society of Nigeria (MSSN) in Yauri, Kebbi State, was killed by bandits following his abduction from his farm.
According to reports, the cleric was kidnapped on Friday, and the abductors later sent a photograph of his body to his family. Relatives have pleaded with the public not to share the image, respecting the dignity of the late cleric.
Sources in the area confirmed that several other individuals were also abducted during the attack, with ransom demands made before the killing. The deceased was widely admired for his dedication to the Qur’an, with his teachings and recitations shared on social media platforms like TikTok, inspiring many across Nigeria.
Communities across Kebbi State are mourning his loss, offering prayers for Allah’s mercy upon his soul, and expressing growing concern over the rising insecurity in Northern Nigeria. Many citizens are urging government authorities to implement stronger security measures to protect innocent lives and prevent further tragedies.
“This heartbreaking incident underscores the urgent need to safeguard communities. May Allah grant him peace and bring an end to these attacks,” residents said.
