Pastor Paul Enenche Blasts “Wicked Nigerian Leaders,” Says God Is Ready to Intervene Amid Viral Claims of Trump’s Threat to Invade Nigeria
Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr. Paul Enenche, has sparked nationwide reactions following a fiery message in which he called out what he described as the “wickedness and insensitivity” of Nigeria’s leaders.
Pastor Enenche’s message surfaced online alongside viral social media claims alleging that former U.S. President Donald Trump issued a threat to “invade Nigeria”—claims which have not been confirmed by any official U.S. or Nigerian government source.
In his sermon, Enenche lamented the economic hardship, governance failures, and widespread insecurity affecting millions of Nigerians, stating that the situation has pushed the nation to the brink.
“Leadership that delights in oppression will not escape divine judgment. Nigeria’s wicked leaders must know that God does not sleep. The groaning of the masses has reached heaven,” he declared.
He emphasized that a nation cannot progress when its rulers prioritize personal gain over the wellbeing of citizens, warning that divine intervention may come in unexpected ways if leaders refuse to change.
Amid the trending but unverified chatter about Trump, Enenche stressed that Nigeria’s real threat is internal misrule, not foreign interference.
“Whether anybody threatens us or not, the real issue is the suffering of our people. If leaders refuse to change, heaven will respond,” he said.
The message has drawn mixed reactions across social media—some praising the pastor for speaking truth to power, others cautioning against amplifying unverified geopolitical claims.
Analysts note that Enenche’s comments reflect growing public frustration as Nigerians continue to grapple with inflation, insecurity, and political tension.
