Apostle Michael Olowo Makes Serious Allegations Against Top Nigerian Figures, Urges Christians to Protect Themselves

A Nigerian cleric identified as Apostle Michael Olowo has sparked widespread controversy following a viral sermon in which he accused certain high-ranking Nigerian politicians and public figures of backing terrorism in the country.

In the circulating message, Apostle Olowo referenced the prolonged Boko Haram insurgency, attacks on Christian communities, and fears of Islamization, alleging that such crises “will never end” as long as individuals he named — including Vice President Kashim Shettima, Sanusi Lamido, Ali Modu Sheriff, and Isa Pantami — remain influential in national affairs.

He urged Christians to “defend themselves”, claiming that relying solely on divine intervention was inadequate in the face of ongoing violence.

“They are deeply involved in these mass killings,” Olowo alleged.
“Christians must rise up and defend themselves because God will not come down to fight for them.”
