Businessman and philanthropist Seyi Tinubu, son of Nigeria’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, marked his 40th birthday in grand style — not with parties or fanfare, but through a massive charity outreach that touched lives across Lagos State.
In a gesture that has drawn wide praise, Seyi Tinubu organized a statewide humanitarian drive to commemorate his milestone birthday, reaching out to orphanages, underserved communities, and vulnerable families with food items, gifts, and essential supplies.
The outreach, coordinated through the Noella Foundation and several youth volunteer groups, distributed hundreds of care packages, including rice, noodles, beverages, and clothing, to children’s homes, widows, and low-income households across multiple local government areas in Lagos.
“This celebration is about giving back and spreading hope,” Seyi Tinubu said. “Forty years is a reminder of gratitude — to God, to family, and to the people who make our communities thrive.”
Beneficiaries across communities expressed deep appreciation for the initiative, describing it as a rare example of compassion and leadership. Many noted that the gesture brought smiles to families struggling with the high cost of living.
“He didn’t just come to celebrate; he came to share love and hope,” said Mrs. Adeyemi, a matron at one of the orphanages visited.
The charity campaign also featured medical outreach programs, youth empowerment activities, and donations to schools and rehabilitation centers.
Seyi Tinubu, who has consistently been involved in social causes through his various initiatives, reaffirmed his commitment to supporting education, youth development, and social welfare in Nigeria.
“True celebration,” he noted, “is about touching lives and building a legacy of kindness.”
The event has since gone viral on social media, with many Nigerians applauding his decision to celebrate his 40th birthday by impacting lives rather than hosting a lavish event.
