Nigerian entertainer Peller has opened up about how his colleague, Joblaq, nearly lost his career after falling into drug addiction and bad company.
According to Peller, Joblaq’s promising music journey took a dark turn when he began associating with the wrong friends, which led to substance abuse and dangerous habits.
“Joblaq was the one who almost killed his career by following bad friends. He got addicted to drugs, igbo, and laughing gas to the point that he almost went crazy,” Peller revealed.
The entertainer further disclosed that Joblaq’s health deteriorated so badly that he had to be hospitalized for several months, receiving medical treatment and injections to stabilize his condition.
Fans have since reacted with mixed emotions—some expressing sympathy for Joblaq’s struggles and commending him for fighting his way back, while others see his story as a cautionary tale about the dangers of substance abuse in the entertainment industry.
