Nigerian striker Victor Boniface is on the verge of completing a sensational transfer to Saudi Pro League giants Al Nassr, in what could be one of the biggest African football deals of the year.
Reports suggest that should the move be finalized, Boniface will immediately become the third highest-paid player in Saudi Arabia, joining the ranks of Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mané at the Riyadh-based club.
Boniface, who has been in stellar form in Europe, is highly regarded for his strength, sharp finishing, and ability to dictate play in the final third. His move to the Middle East is expected to bolster Al Nassr’s attack while also positioning him as one of the top-earning African players globally.
While fans are excited about the deal, many are also debating whether a switch to Saudi Arabia at this stage of his career could affect his long-term trajectory in European football.
