The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has rolled out an intensive schedule of infrastructure delivery under the Renewed Hope Agenda, flagging off 14 new projects and commissioning two completed ones between September 18 and October 16, 2025.
The projects span across critical sectors including roads, bridges, street lighting, and public utilities, aimed at improving transportation, enhancing security, and uplifting the aesthetics of the Federal Capital City.
Speaking during one of the ceremonies, Wike reiterated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s directive to accelerate development in the FCT, promising that the administration would not relent in its commitment to deliver world-class infrastructure.
“The Renewed Hope Agenda is not just a slogan; it is a commitment to make Abuja safer, more accessible, and more liveable for all,” Wike said.
The flurry of flag-offs and commissioning within a single month has drawn praise from residents and stakeholders, who note that the pace of development in the FCT has accelerated under Wike’s leadership.
Analysts say the projects reflect the administration’s focus on infrastructure expansion, urban renewal, and economic growth, key drivers of the Renewed Hope vision.
