A Nigerian lady has warmed hearts online after sharing a touching reflection about her father’s constant concern whenever she visits home.
According to her, while she doesn’t get to see her family often, her father is always the one who struggles the most each time she has to leave. “Anytime I want to go back, my dad is the only person with the questions — ‘Why are you going back? When will you come back? So you’re going back?’” she wrote.
She fondly described fathers as “our big babies,” noting that beneath their tough exterior, they carry a deep, childlike attachment and vulnerability when it comes to their children.
