Abia State University (ABSU) has undergone a remarkable facelift just five months after Governor’s visit and promise to transform the institution.
During his earlier tour of the university, the Governor assured students, staff, and the academic community that his administration would prioritize infrastructure renewal, improved learning conditions, and modern facilities to restore ABSU’s pride.
True to his word, the past months have seen visible changes across the university — from renovated lecture halls, improved hostels, and upgraded libraries to better road networks and enhanced campus security.
“My able governor said he was going to transform Abia State University, and he did just that,” a proud student said while urging others to visit and witness the transformation themselves.
The development has been widely praised by stakeholders who say it reflects the Governor’s commitment to education and youth empowerment in Abia State.
Videos showcasing the university’s new look are already circulating on social media, with many commending the administration for keeping to its promise in record time.
