VeryDarkMan Warns Obi Cubana: "You're Next" After E-Money's Release

Controversial activist VeryDarkMan has issued a stern warning to Nigerian businessman Obi Cubana, advising him to be cautious following the recent release of socialite E-Money from EFCC custody.

In a video shared on social media, VeryDarkMan stated, "Obi Cubana, you have to be really careful because you're next; you're the main target."

The warning comes after E-Money, whose real name is Emeka Okonkwo, was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over allegations of currency abuse during a public event. He was later released from custody, but investigations into the matter are ongoing.

VeryDarkMan, known for his outspoken criticism of Nigeria's elite, has previously clashed with Obi Cubana. In 2024, he accused the businessman of being a "greedy populist" who has done little to support Nigerian youths, despite his displays of wealth. VeryDarkMan also criticized Obi Cubana for not speaking out on significant national issues, such as the prolonged detention of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) .

Obi Cubana has yet to publicly respond to VeryDarkMan's latest comments. The EFCC has also not issued a statement regarding the warning directed at Obi Cubana.

The situation highlights the ongoing scrutiny of Nigeria's wealthy elite by both government agencies and social activists. It also underscores the tensions between public figures and critics who hold them accountable for their actions and influence.
