Nigerian Afrobeats artist Skales has seen his dream of collaborating with international R&B star Chris Brown on a remix of his 2014 hit "Shake Body" come closer to fruition, thanks to the support of fellow Nigerian musician Davido.
Skales first expressed his desire for the collaboration by tweeting, "I want Chris Brown on Shakebody remix," which quickly garnered attention from fans and the music community.
Responding to the call, Davido, known for his international collaborations, offered his assistance, stating he would reach out to Chris Brown to make the remix happen.
The original "Shake Body" song, produced by Jay Pizzle, was a major hit in 2014 and has recently gained renewed popularity, partly due to its feature in the American series Step Up: High Water, where Barcelona's Lamine Yamal showcased the track.
With Davido's backing, the anticipated remix of "Shake Body" featuring Chris Brown is poised to bridge the gap between Afrobeats and global R&B, further elevating Skales' international presence.
