Veteran Nollywood actor and political commentator Kenneth Okonkwo has sharply criticized the All Progressives Congress (APC), describing it as a "sinking house" and questioning the rationale behind joining a party he deems to be in decline.
In a recent interview, Okonkwo expressed his disbelief that individuals would choose to align with a party facing significant challenges, stating, "It is an absurdity that people will see a sinking house and run into it... APC is a sinking house."
Okonkwo's remarks reflect his ongoing critique of the APC, which he previously left in 2022 due to disagreements over the party's Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket. Since then, he has been an outspoken critic of the party's policies and leadership.
