Former Living Faith Pastor David Abioye Announces New Church Launching May 4

Former Vice President of Living Faith Church, Bishop David Abioye, has announced the commencement of Sunday morning services at his new ministry, set to begin on May 4, 2025.

This development follows his retirement from the church in October 2024, after over four decades of service.

Abioye's retirement was in accordance with the operational guidelines of Living Faith Church, known as the "Mandate." Despite stepping down from his official role, he has continued to engage in ministry activities. In November 2024, he launched a revival program titled "Hour of Revival," themed "Revive Us Again," held at the National Stadium Velodrome in Abuja. The program aimed to inspire spiritual renewal and was open to individuals from various denominations .

In a recent post on his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, Abioye announced the start of regular Sunday services at his new church, inviting the public to join. The services are scheduled to begin at 8:00 AM on May 4, 2025. The location of the new church has not been disclosed, but further details are expected to be shared in the coming days.

Abioye's decision to establish a new ministry has been met with support from his followers, many of whom have expressed eagerness to participate in the upcoming services. His continued commitment to spiritual leadership suggests that his influence within the Christian community remains strong, even after his official retirement from Living Faith Church.

As the launch date approaches, additional information regarding the church's location and other service details are anticipated.
