The President has issued a directive to the Chief of Defense Staff, Chief of Army Staff, Chief of Air Staff, and the National Security Advisor (NSA) to provide necessary security for personnel tasked with repairing a recently damaged power line. This decision comes in response to concerns over the safety of the repair teams amid ongoing security challenges in the region.

Minister of Power, Bayo Adelabu, emphasized the importance of restoring the power line to ensure a stable electricity supply for affected communities. The government is committed to addressing infrastructure issues and ensuring that repair operations can proceed without hindrance.

The directive aims to facilitate a swift restoration of power services, which are crucial for local businesses and residents.
