Tragedy struck in Ikorodu community after some assailants who are yet to be arrested brutally killed a Canada returnee on a construction site in in Lagos State.According to local reports, the man was living in Toronto, the the provincial capital of Ontario Canada and he lived there for at least nine years before he decided to visit his family in Nigeria and during the same period use the opportunity to inspect his ongoing projects in the country.
Over the years while living and working abroad he sends money to his family, he specifically sends money to his brother to help him oversee a building project. Unfortunately, he was killed shortly after his arrival into the country. He was reportedly killed immediately he arrived the site of the project that his brother was managing for him.
The assailants sprayed the Mercedes Benz vehicle that conveyed him with several gun shots. The victim’s head was also shattered with gun shots.
Video coverage of the aftermath of the incident did not show other victims and there was no mention about any other victim. Watch clip from the scene of incident below:
