Buhari Signs N30,000 Minimum Wage Into Law

President Muhammadu Buhari has on Thursday, March 28, signed the proposed N30,000 minimum wage bill into law.

This is coming after the submission of the report by the Presidential Technical Advisory Committee (PTAC), headed by Bismarck Rewane and aimed at looking into the new National Minimum Wage.

Naija News recalls that Buhari had promised to review the passage of N30,000 as new minimum wage after he received the report from the committee earlier in the week.

Recall that the President had also earlier set up a tripartite committee to look into the demands of the organised labour.

Buhari also revealed while inaugurating the PTAC that provisions had already been made in the national budget for 2019.
