Speaker Dogara, Other Rep Members, Officially Dump APC For PDP

 Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Yakubu Dogara, has officially announced his defection from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).


He announced his defection on the floor of the house during plenary on Tuesday.

Although Naija News recalls Dogara last year, picked the PDP form to seek re-election, he didn’t announce his defection on the floor of the house.



Two other APC lawmakers – Ahmed Yerima representing Misau/Damdam constituency in Bauchi state and Edward Pwajok who represents Jos south-east constituency in Plateau state also joined the speaker in dumping the APC for the PDP.

The lawmakers did not give any reason for leaving the ruling party.
