Nigerian journalist, Lekan Fatodu has reacted to claims by former vice president, Atiku Abubakar to only run for one term if he's elected to power in 2019.
According to Fatodu, 'to me, the One Term soundbite is not different from One Chance, the dangerous practice by some despicable operators of public transportation in Nigeria who usually drive innocent passengers to wrong destinations and rob them of their belongings'.
He also said, 'I can never trust this headline-statement made by Atiku. It's not that I have any issue with the man's political aspiration. It's just because some presidential aspirants, without excluding any person, had in the past made same promise and suddenly changed after taking over power. So it's better for Oga to stick to his signature and stimulating Restructuring Punchline and Business Prowess if that would win him his party ticket. But I'm not certain if that's enough to upstage the much vaunted integrity of the OLD Wine'.
