The brother of someone who was to wed this Thursday allegedly dies in Warri police detention after severe beating

This is one of the saddest stories of alleged police brutality you'll ever read. As the story goes, the police in Warri under the orders of one DPO named Anietie Eyoh raided the house of a family preparing for a wedding this Thursday.

They arrested and detained a family member without charge. Every member of the family who went to bail him out was also arrested and detained. Six family members in all. Tragically, one of the detainees named Ifunanya Amadike died in detention from the beating he received at the hands of the police.
