Naija News learnt that the president disclosed this in a letter to the National Assembly today.
Naija news also understands that the president urged the Senate to confirm the five people as non-executive directors of the board of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
Disclosing the president’s request on the floor of the Senate, Senator Ahmad Lawan raised the motion when he said:
“That the Senate do consider the request of Mr President C-n-C for the confirmation of nomination of the following persons for appointment as non-executive directors of the board of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).”
