A battle between adolescents charged to be supporters of some councillorship hopefuls in Wayo Ward in the Wamba Local Government Area of Nasarawa State has exacted genuine wounds on no under five people.
Naija News accumulated that the episode occurred on Monday at the All Progressives Congress secretariat in Lafia after supporters of a councillorship hopeful from Wamba constituent ward, challenged the asserted inconvenience of applicants amid the primaries hung on April 14, 2018.
The supporters were affirmed to have guaranteed that no essential was led in the Wayo region of Wamba discretionary ward, Loko Guto in Nasarawa Local Government Area, Ciroma region of Lafia constituent ward and the Ubbe territory of Nasarawa Eggon ward.
Report has it that the battle broke out when one of the supporters of a wannabe from Wayo Ward, hit an APC youth all over, prompting a free-for-all and bringing about damage to individuals, who were then raced to Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital, Lafia, for treatment.
At the gathering secretariat, equipped mob policemen and the Department of State Services agents were in participation to keep up peace at the scene.
Affirming the occurrence, Hudu Yamba-Agidi, the APC Publicity Secretary, said he was educated in regards to the battle.
DSP Idirisu Kennedy, the Nasarawa State police representative, be that as it may, said he couldn't affirm the occurrence as he still couldn't seem to be informed.
